Lens review: G&G Big Size Circle Violet

A little while ago I ordered these violet contact lenses from Pinky Paradise. I originally planned to use them for Okita Souji from Peace Maker Kurogane (and I still do) but I opened them before cosplaying him . I really like violet contacts so I tried them on and here are the pictures.

The brand is G&G Big Size Circle Violet.
Pictures were taken by Valkoinen Samurai.

Normal indoors light.

Flash.

This one was taken with Valkoinen Samurai's older camera.

One lens in. Flash photo taken with the SLR camera.

I must say that I really like these contacts; they are quite enlarging and despite being violet, they are not too conspicuous. In dim light, it's very hard to tell the color of my eyes when I have these on, and in outdoors light, people don't notice right away. What's more, they are really comfortable to wear. I stop feeling them in my eyes after five minutes or so, which is very appreciated with colored contacts. I have no vision limitation (ie no colored halo or blur at the limit of my vision), which often happens with colored contacts. They don't feel "thick" either (my yellow contacts do, in addition to limiting my vision).

 In short:

Color: 8/10
Noticeable color but in dimmer light it turns into this undefinable contact lenses color. They also look blue-ish at times but most often it's a beautiful violet. The black outline makes them even cooler.
Design: 7/10
Simple design but it looks good!
Opacity: 8/10
They only show a little of my real eye color.
Enlargement: 7/10
They are enlarging but don't give huge doll eyes.
Comfort: 8/10
Can be worn for several hours in a row without problems
Naturalness: 3/10
Violet eyes with this kind of pattern? Totally natural.

Lens review: EOS Dolly Eye Brown

I've had these yellow/brown contacts for a while but hadn't done a review yet because I got them just before Animecon X, and didn't have time to do the review before the con.
These lenses are from Honey Color and the brand is EOS Dolly Eye Brown.
Pictures are taken by Valkoinen Samurai, in indoors light (during the evening) and with the flash.

13/08/2014 edit: more pictures for you! <3

Indoors, next to a window on a cloudy day.
Indoors, next to the same window.
Indoors, close to the lamp.
Outdoors. It's cloudy.
Outdoors, with sunlight.
From a distance, in sunlight.
From a distance, in the shadows.
Not much to say about these lenses; as you can see if you zoom, the "hole" in the middle is rather small so they hide the natural eye color pretty well but restrict vision a little. They aren't the most comfortable lenses because of this little restriction but still perfectly okay to wear as long as they are cleaned properly before you put them on, otherwise you'll be crying for half an hour but that goes for all colored contacts. I personally think that my eyes look kind of "empty" when I have them on but I only get this impression on a very close look; otherwise it's not a problem. They are noticeable but not so much in dim light.

 In short:

Color: 8/10
Very obvious "dark" yellowish brown. Unnatural shade.
Design: 7/10
Simple but very noticeable.
Opacity: 10/10
Real eye color doesn't show through at all.
Enlargement: 4/10
Only slight enlargement.
Comfort: 4/10
I don't know if I was unlucky with just this pair, but they feel "thick" in my eyes and hinder my vision. By far my least comfortable contacts so far.
Naturalness: 1/10
Looks like they are going to jump out of my eyes.

Lens review: GEO Xtra Bella Brown

Last week I went to pick up a package at the post office and it was my order from Pinky Paradise. Since my brown contacts are no longer usable (at least not the right one, but do you know a character who only has one left brown eye?) I ordered the same.
The brand is GEO Xtra WBS 204 Bella Brown. Here are my pictures, all taken by Valkoinen Samurai (with the flash but it doesn't change real colors.

New pics! (added on 19th of September 2014)

Taken outdoors, facing the setting sun.
Outdoors, in the shadows. (on the "sun" side of the building)
Still in the shadows, but on the "shadow" side.
Sunset light.
In the shadows at sunset. (outdoors)
Flash pic. Still outdoors in the shadows.
Face pic. (taken in the shadows outdoors, before sun sets completely)
Same light, from a distance.
Basically:

Color: 7/10
A pretty brown that sometimes appears very dark on photos, especially from a distance. They also let some of my real eye color show.
Design: 7/10
Not especially original but it looks cute.
Opacity: 5/10
Outer rim is opaque but inside brown color blends into my real eye color and "disappears" a bit. Seem to be made for brown-eyed people.
Enlargement: 8/10
Nice big eyes, suited for cosplaying shoujo characters.
Comfort: 8/10
Most of the time very comfortable, but they have hurt too. Sometimes troublesome to put on.
Naturalness: 4/10
Too big and too dark for this. Basically.

I have to add something! When I wore these contacts on the day the new pics were taken, I had no comfort problems but when I took them off, my eyes were all bloodshot. Time to throw them away.
